Trace Chiodo is a Wisconsin-based visual artist working primarily in digital illustration and photography. In his work, Chiodo strives to reveal the uncanny, as well as the beauty, in the details of our environments that are typically overlooked.
Chiodo has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions including: 16th Street Stories – University of Wisconsin–Parkside (Kenosha, WI), Fish Out of Water – ArtSpace Gallery (Kohler, WI), Wisconsin Photography – Wustum Museum of Fine Arts (Racine, WI), Digital Transitions: New Tools, New Art – Kenosha Public Museum (Kenosha, WI).
In 2024, two pieces from his Striking Faces of Golf series were selected to be part of the Lunar Codex. The work will be included in the Codex Polaris, scheduled to launch to the Moon’s southern hemisphere in September 2025 aboard the SpaceX Falcon Heavy Rocket.
His work can be found at the 33 Contemporary Gallery, Palm Beach, Florida and in private collections including the KOHLER Golf Collection in Kohler, Wisconsin which features 24 of his works.
In addition to his studio practice, Trace Chiodo is the founder of the independent graphic design company, Chiodo Design. For over 25 years, Chiodo Design has served clients across North America and Europe by bringing their identities and visual communications artistically to life. He has received multiple awards for his creative designs and expertise including Silver ADDYs and the Design Excellence Award from CTI Paper. Chiodo has also worked closely with nationally and internationally known artists to help them establish their brands and grow their studio practices.
